The first edition. 9 min.It was requested by Hisao Itoa, a chairman of Japan Mandolin Union to make a new music based on the Japanese famous song of "The Moon over the Ruined Castle" by TAKI, Rentaro. It was composed and first performed by Gifu Mandolin Union in 1983. The technique of variation is used for this music in order to make more dramatic with keeping original melody. The song is included in this music, however it can be omitted.
